| Teak is an extremely durable hardwood, densely grained, and resistant to shrinking, swelling, rot, warping, and splitting. Benches are found in London parks that have been in place for over 100 years. Teak has a high natural oil content that preserves the wood, enabling it to be placed outdoors without concern. Importantly, teak requires no maintenance. Over time it will weather to a silvery gray color, fitting perfectly into every outdoor setting. If you wish, teak used indoors can be treated with teak oil to maintain its original golden brown color. Beyond this, teak is there for you to enjoy over the years! |
